as a designer at this promotional products design and manufacturing firm, I am responsible for the conception and production of promotional items such as bags, handbags, totes, treatment cases, and gift products for large corporate clients like Lancome, Clarins, and Redken. responsibilities include sketching, photo-realistic illustration and rendering using Photoshop and Illustrator, control drawings, material selection and sourcing, and communication with overseas factories. my products have been used for large-scale promotions with orders of over 100,000 pieces.

sole city, inc. / new york, ny (july 2001 - feb. 2002)
at this footwear licensing company, I designed shoes for brands such as Avirex and Plugg. I was responsible for all aspects of the design process, from trend research to the sketching stage, through hand drafting, computer rendering using Adobe Photoshop, colorways and material specifications and dimensioning.

the devon shop / new york, ny (june 2000 - march 2001)
at this custom furniture factory and showroom, I completed creative work such as photography and graphic design for the launch of the company's website, as well as maintained a mailing list and completed administrative tasks.

pratt institute residential life / brooklyn, NY (aug. 1999 - may 2001)
as a resident advisor, I oversaw a floor of 40 students, and was responsible for community building, educational programming, peer advising and counseling, administration, policy enforcement, and emergency duty coverage.
